About Us

Syncline Energy was founded in 2005. It has originated more than $5Bn of energy transition infrastructure assets, of which $1.7Bn is either under construction or in operation.

Syncline is owned by Phil Galloway, who has an extensive track record in project development, engineering and finance. This includes global executive roles at BHP for 10-years, engineering roles with Rio Tinto, banking roles at CS first Boston in the electricity sector and energy market analyst roles at Esso.

He has completed M&A transactions and financing totaling more than $40Bn and has delivered complex mining, oil and renewable energy projects over four decades around the world.
